Listening to the Body: A Restorative Sunday Morning Reset for the Nervous System
Sunday 19th April, 10am – 1pm [Please click here for booking link]
An experiential morning designed to help you understand your stress responses… and learn how to gently shift them.
You’ll begin with a guided relaxation that works with imagination and body awareness to help the nervous system move out of a stress state and towards calm. You’ll then explore slow, mindful movement coordinated with the breath, moving at your own pace in a way that supports nervous system regulation, and builds the foundation for a sustainable self-practice. The session closes with tea, followed by a soothing sound bath for deep integration, reflection, and space for questions.
You’ll leave with
- Practical tools you can use immediately
- A felt experience of nervous system regulation
- Greater awareness of your stress patterns
- A sense of calm, clarity, and steadiness
All practices are gentle and optional. No prior experience is needed.
To make your Sound experience as restful as possible, bring:
- Yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on
- 2 pillows or cushions (one for your head, one under your knees)
- Eye pillow or light scarf to gently cover your eyes
- 1–2 blankets to stay cosy as your body relaxes
Wear whatever feels comfortable, leggings, jeans, whatever helps you rest. The most important thing is that you’re warm and comfortable!
If you have any questions at all please contact Jan Weston or Ben Beswick otherwise we hope to see you soon!
